Fantastical Marriage Documents

The ketubah is a special Jewish prenuptial agreement outlining the rights and responsibilities of marriage.  Jews of Italy are known for their elaborately designed ketubot (plural).

Rabbi Peretz Wolf-Prusan,  Senior educator at Lehrhaus Judaica has been a ketubah scribe and illuminator. He will share examples and insights into these artistic covenantal documents.
