Actor and Producer Ronald Guttman (Mad Men, The West Wing) joins his brother, Musical Director Michael Guttman and Symphony Napa Valley in narrating the gripping and rarely-performed orchestral poem of ancient origin, Genesis. Timeless works by Mendelssohn and Bloch complete the afternoon’s spiritual journey.

Genesis, a symphonic poem by Dr. Baruch Berliner is inspired by the story of the world’s creation that is described in the “Book of Books”, the Bible. The work is particularly relevant in these days of tragic rifts between nations. In Genesis, ancient Biblical stories, intertwined with music that describes them, creates a universal bridge of peace and freedom, tolerance and acceptance.
